Board of Health (Netcong Borough through Mt. Olive Township)
The Mount Olive Health Department provides many services for the Borough of Netcong including a full time Health Officer and other properly trained and experienced personnel that may be required, necessary or prudent to carry out and discharge public health activities. A paramount responsibility of this department is to conduct scheduled and ad hoc inspections of restaurants, housing units, and other facilities, which may pose a public health nuisance. In addition to scheduled inspections, sites will be investigated in response to complaints.
For assistance with any Board of Health issues, you may call Netcong Borough Hall at 973-347-0252 or Mt. Olive Township Health Department at 973-691-0900 ext. 7356.
Landlord Registration (Netcong Borough)
Each rental unit shall be registered and licensed annually. No rental unit shall hereafter be rented unless the rental unit is registered and licensed in accordance with this chapter.

Netcong Borough zoning permits are required for any expansion to a building footprint or the addition of structures (fence, shed, patio, signs), or a change of use, if applicable. Application requires you attach a copy of your property survey detailing the location of the proposed project, including proposed distances to the property lines. Once a zoning permit is issued, building permits, if required, may be applied for.
